This copy is inscribed on the front cover by Daryl
This routine was featured in the act for which Daryl won the first prize in the International Brotherhood of Magician's Close-Up Magic competition.
Two cards are selected and returned to the deck (they are not controlled to the top or bottom). Half of the deck is turned face up and the cards are all shuffled together. What a mess! Face up and face down cards all mixed up.
Instantly, the deck is spread and all of the cards are now face down except for two. These two are the 'indicator' cards and they indicate the exact locations of the selections. But that's not all? As you spread the rest of the cards face up the spectator will gasp in amazement to see that the entire deck has divided itself - one half red and the other half black faced cards! This is a surprising and dramatic color separation finish.
Daryl's version of 'Triumph' is just as easy as Dai Vernon's original handling, it gives you maximum impact for minimum effort.
It is assumed that you are familiar with the standard 'Triumph' Shuffle. If you are not, and would like to learn this, please order "Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card Sleights - Volume 3" where it is clearly demonstrated and explained in detail
