Memoirs and Confessions of a Stage Magician by Don Brandon

A great bargain on a great book. This book originally sold for $24.95 and was worth every penny even in 1995. Don Brandon was inspired by Willard the Wizard in Texas. This is the story of a rather large touring illusion show by Don and Joyce Brandon. Over 300 hardbound pages and over 60 chapters relating the stories of their travels, triumphs, and disappointments. Midnight ghost shows, thousands of theaters and civi organizations. It's all here as well as some great chapters on large stage illusions and their methods inclduing the Stretching A Woman, Disembodied Princess, Glass Lined Trunk, Dizzy Limit Net Vanish, Dittmar's Drum Illusion, Goddess & Reptile, Lear Jet Vanish, Willard's Monkey Illusion, and much more. A wonderful book about what it is like to tour with a large illusion show. I highly recommend this enjoyable book.
